I created my first vision board back in 2012 using a list of celebrities I wanted to meet. Below is the board. See if you can spot what’s wrong with it.

If you said “Bill Cosby,” then you are right. Again, I created this board back in 2012. We did not know then what we know now about Bill Cosby.
However, not all was lost. Since 2012, I have seen Tyler Perry live on stage, and I met rapper Drake on Wednesday, October 26, 2013, singer Carman on Thursday, June 12, 2014, and Lakewood Church pastor Joel Osteen on Friday, October 7, 2016.

Vision boards often depict our desires based on what we know.
However, God, in His infinite wisdom sees what we can’t see (Proverbs 15:3). As we delight in Him, He grants us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4). Why? Our desires become His desires.
God also does exceedingly, abundantly, above all we could ever ask or think (Ephesians 3:20-21). In addition to the above three (3) celebrities, I have met over 50 other public figures who were not featured on my original vision board, including actor Hugh Jackman, The Bible Series producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, TV mogul Steve Harvey, gospel singer Jonathan McReynolds, author Hill Harper, Potter’s House Church pastor, author, and mastermind Bishop T.D. Jakes and more!
When we seek the Lord first in prayer, then He will guide us accordingly so that His desires, not just ours, show up on our boards.
