Writing your days offers countless benefits.

In 2014, I hired finance coach Tim Mann who encouraged me to start writing my daily victories. It could include everything I accomplished for the day, Godwinks, challenges, people I met, books I read, places I visited, etc.

I took his advice and started keeping a bullet point list of my days. To date, I have over five years of stories, triumphs, failures, joys, sorrows, blessings, the mundane, the marvelous, the miraculous, and more! In fact, many of these articles have emerged from this journaling process.

Documenting our days offers countless benefits. It is a beautiful, honest way to reflect on the many ways God shows up for us. It helps us think, feel, discover, learn, grow, expand, remember, and dream. A daily writing practice also boosts our mood, enhances our sense of well-being, reduces depression, brings clarity to our thoughts, feelings, and vision, accelerates our creativity and ability to achieve our goals, increases our gratitude, improves our working memory, heals the past, brings things together, offers new perspectives and a running record of our lives.
